Head to Harbour Street in Whitstable for a leisurely shopping trip where you can pick up a souvenir from one of the many independent boutique and gift shops.
When you’re done why not have a bite to eat and a well earned rest at a restaurant or cafe. Some of our Whitstable holiday cottages are literally on the doorstep to Harbour Street, which is home to several well known establishments including V. C. Jones Fish and Chip shop.
Harbour Street and its shops have been featured extensively in the national press. If art is your thing take a look inside one of the many independent galleries scattered around the town. If you are around during the bi-monthly farmer’s market, pick up some locally grown produce and help support Whitstable’s local traders.
